Science or Evil. Which Is It?!

 Well which is it?! Is it really about using the power of the mind to move objects or manipulate matter or is it really getting help from some other worldly forces, hmmm... lets say a Demon!
From a scientific point of view manipulating matter or if you like the more succulent name of Telekinesis where one has the ability to do anything. All you need to is to concentrate, focus and a little bit of will power or so they say!
A perfect example is the famous Gene Grey from the "X-men movies". On a scientific level she can do anything with her mind and just a thought, she can do anything she puts her mind to from moving a pin to moving an anchor., she is actually the most powerful mutant in the movie.
Boy I would sure love too have her for my girlfriend, guys come on, I know you are thinking the samething!
 Now on a religious point of view it is seen in a different light. You see she has a force or spirit that lives inside her from the day she was born, a force so powerful that no one can control not even herself!!!!

 This spirit (Phoenix) as some of us might call it, is actually a demon entity that uses her and doubles, triples or whatever you want to say, her abilities ten fold as seen in the last movie: "X-men: The Last Stand"! Incredible isn't it! her powers are so great that she can kill a person from at molecular level. Can you imagine yourself doing something like that, wow but sorry to burst your bubbles but this is the real world!

but I mean what if?! the church would say," well that girl is definately possess" and  the next thing you know you are on trial to be exorcised! I mean really couldn't she have been possess by an angel or God himself, is it so far fetched?!
Angels have powers too you know! Gosh!
Anyway it makes you consider these phrases: "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" and the ever famous: "You can do anything if you believe in yourself".
Now let's break one down a little, shall we.
when you hear this: "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" but yet if I move something across the room with my mind, I am ridiculed, criticise, belittled, disgust at, embarrassed, shunned, chastised etc...by the church who disregard the fact that it could be a gift by God but embraced by science who would see this as an opportunity to see the how the mind works and to what extent one can reach by doing such things!!
 So I left this with you. Which is it? Is it Science or is it  Evil?!
That I leave that up to you!

Concerned!!!

I am concerned how Jamaica's name, its talent, its people are house hold names across the globe. Things like our music and of course our dance among other things. However, what I am trying to get at is the fact that I was watching a music video recently sung by Willow Smith called "Whip my hair". She is an adorable child and of course I did enjoy the video, mi nah lie, it bad!! But what got me is the dance routine that was used in the video.

If you should take a good look at it one would realized that it is none other than the dutty wine which was done by Tony Matterhorn!! It is a spin off of the original dance routine which showed females flashing their hair and rotating their heads in an almost 360 degrees motion! But my concern is this and you tell me if I am wrong!

Isn't that some kind of piracy? Shouldn't the original owner of this dance routine should get some kind of Monetary allowance or something? If I am correct about this, it therefore means that Mr. Matterhorn is losing out big time!!

You know what hurts me the most, is the fact that they didn't even acknowledge that the root of this dance is Jamaican!! Jamaica's talents are being emulated, packaged and sold around the world by none native people and making huge sums of money and yet none is passing our way. Hmm, I wonder why is that?!
I think our country needs to have a firm footing where copyrights is concerned.

Come on we need to wake up, wake up man we sleep too much!!! Damn it!

I don't" know if you might remember a few years back when Kartel used a renowned rhythm from Ne-Yo's song "Miss Independent" and created the famous "Romping Shop". Can you tell me what happened?
Yes indeed, they told Kartel that he should desist from playing his song on their rhythm because there was no formal agreement between him(Kartel) and the recording company. You see how life funny?!

And yet here we are again, they are using our dance, twisting it up and passing it off as if it their original idea. Our culture is being ripped away from us little by little, we soon nuh have none left fi wi pickney dem fi feed from.

• Yes i am concerned how we as Jamaicans can sit by and watch as our legacy is being ripped from under our feet!
• I am concerned how we sit and allow the world to package, produce and sell our culture, my culture, our children's culture, our forefathers culture and we sit by and watch and say "cho a nuh nuttn dat" and at the sane time we are embracing other cultures and giving ours away!!
• I am concerned what our forefathers might be thinking. Jamaica is this what they fought for? Are you saying that Nanny catch bullets with her rare end so that we can allow other nations to invade and become imposters of our heritage!
• I am concerned that if our forefathers were alive today they would definately die in his century as their blood, sweat and tears were in vane!

So my question is this, what do you think we can do to prevent our our history, our culture, our heritage, our Jamaica, My Jamaica from crumbling from under our feet!!!

having a thouht

Hey my people!

Men do you ever stop to wonder or just pause for a second and think that we are just an amazing set of people. We have the most beautiful women, whether tall or short, a woman for every man.There are big body ladies, you know if you like them Fluffy, slim ladies for the men who likes their women manageable, ruffians for the men who like their women rough around the edges and how could I forget those quiet, most adorable, sincere, sneaking, caa mash ants women who for those men who like a little challenge just to try and figure out who they are. I like those women, very puzzling!!! A lie mi a tell?

There are also those women who are chatty for those men who themselves are also chatty(maama man), the party animals. Love to party along with their opposites. You have those women who dressy whether they do it attract men, do it because that's who they are, those who do it because they are somewhat fashionable or even do it to show off on other ladies dat dem nah borrow people clothes!

Yeah a so d ting set!!

Anyway whether or not there is a woman for every man and a man for every woman, so i implore people do not try and b any form of match maker plz, I beg of you. Let every man and every woman make there decision without any outside help! but of course you can encourage a relationship and give your input but never play God. O.K!!

Its Impossible. Part 1!!!!

Today I'm here to show how we as humans put vanity,ourselves among other things:-

It's impossible to see how a man can have the heart to come out of his vehicle and shoot up a taxi and killed a 17 y.o because the taxi driver carelessly hit him in the rear of his EXPENSIVE car. What heartless people have we become!!

It's impossible how the government of any country can allow their citizens to suffer at the hands of investors just so that they(government) can get money in their pockets and not for the benefit  of the country. They allow greed and money to corrupt their hearts and investors sweet talking them into these so called deals and make promises they never full fill!!

It's impossible how investors cheaply buy their way into the hearts of these so called government leaders. Buy the beaches, building hotels and calling it "tourist attractions" yet the native people of these nations can't afford a night in these hotels. What? Aren't we tourist too!!

It's impossible how people waste time fussing over the smallest things but yet when it comes down where we should unite and demand answers from our demented leaders, everyone just shuts up. How foolish are we?!!

It's impossible my friends that and this ones a laugh. how a woman or a young lady can enjoy herself on the beach, showing off her two piece bath suit and not run and hide when men stare and gaze their eyes and lusting after these females and yet she feels comfortable. However, when she is seen in her brassier and panty she runs and hide or simply wrap a towel around herself  because she does not want to be seen that way. What is this? Isn't that strange? Weird you might put it. Well for me i think its just fascinating, I mean really now!!

It's impossible how a nation of black people can believe if they change the colour of their skin and think that they will be accepted in these so called elite fairer skin society. Please don't be stupid you will only be ridiculed and laughed at by these elites because you change your skin tone so that you may be "partially" if any at all be accepted by them. Ask yourself this? Is this what our ancestors fought for. Come on people wise up!!

It's impossible the way our ancestors shed their blood across the lands so that we could be free from physical slavery and mental slavery. Put their lives on the line, sacrifice themselves in the name of freedom so that those who come after them (we), will be able to sit, eat, walk, play, talk, run and watch in the same areas as our white opposites. However, we see today that they fought in vane for us because at it stands now we (black) fight against ourselves and welcome other race with open arms. I would say slavery will never end for us. We still bound by the fairer skin man in what some people call it "modern day slavery"

I'm sure many people can relate to this poem. I mean really we get in the mornings, some wake as early as 5 a.m to get to our place of work. While we toil each day at the hands of our superiors and at the mercy of  our will to earn a living at the end of the our pay don't reflect how early we get to work, the determination to reach work on time, the embarrassment we face at the hands of customers.

I mean really, what's the sense we bother work? we ask ourselves if this is the way we will always be treated but then we realize we cannot stop.We cannot stop because we remember that the bills don't pay themselves, food have to be eaten. Therefore we do the same thing over & over each day. When will this end. When will we be getting our fare share while the big man sits in his office & watches us as if we are thieves rather looking at us as an important persons in their business instead we r treated like we don't matter!!!!
